Touch De L'Afrique

Touch De L'Afrique will soon open on St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota.  Balaity Property Enhancement designed the retail space, including all millwork and merchandising systems.  The project architect is Pat Pillot.  The crips gallery space will showcase high end artwork, artifacts, and jewelry produced in South Africa.  This retail component keys in with Go Touch Down Tours, a safari and city tour company.  Customers can experience the retail element and also learn about travel opportunities, which are presented in a lounge and conference space that is a natural extension from the retail floor.

Diamond Vault

Balaity Property Enhancement, in conjunction with Robert Town Architect, is progressing on the design of the new Diamond Vault retail store.  To be located on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, the renovated 6,400 square foot building will make a major impact on the city's commercial corridor.  Currently in the conceptual design phase, the store is expected to transform the former West Marine building with a modern, yet timeless, new design language.  A balance of traditional proportions, modern materials, and green building strategies will serve the second generation of Owners as they serve a loyal customer base and adapt to the progressive retail sector.  Proposed design elements include extensive use of reclaimed cypress paneling (from the former store walls), interior zones appealing to a broad range of customers, and a strategic layering of transparent and translucent materials to allow both secure observation and intimacy within the space.  Check back for more images as the project progresses.
