It’s a balancing act: Slick, eye-catching materials such as glass walls, polished granite and mirrored tiles complement the glamour of the jewelry. Those elements are brought down to earth with warm colors, reclaimed cypress and stacked stone walls. “These materials — along with a range of ceiling heights, case types, and lighting effects — give customers a variety of experiences as they circulate the large retail floor area,” Balaity says.
