Balaity Property Enhancement, in conjunction with Robert Town Architect, is progressing on the design of the new Diamond Vault retail store. To be located on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, the renovated 6,400 square foot building will make a major impact on the city's commercial corridor. Currently in the conceptual design phase, the store is expected to transform the former West Marine building with a modern, yet timeless, new design language. A balance of traditional proportions, modern materials, and green building strategies will serve the second generation of Owners as they serve a loyal customer base and adapt to the progressive retail sector. Proposed design elements include extensive use of reclaimed cypress paneling (from the former store walls), interior zones appealing to a broad range of customers, and a strategic layering of transparent and translucent materials to allow both secure observation and intimacy within the space.
